The SafeFood Byte app is developed by DOST-X in collaboration with the Food Safety Regulation Coordinating Board in Region 10 (FSRCB-X). The SafeFood Byte provides random monitoring and reporting system on the safety of food from the farm to the consumers and to coordinate crisis management and planning during food safety emergencies. Through this app, the FSRCB-X have installed a mechanism for rapid resolution of food safety issues and concerns in Region 10 wherein the consumers can raise their concerns which will be processed and filtered by DOST-X to be submitted to the concerned agency for resolution. Through this app, we are promoting Safe food for everyone, by everyone, through Science, Technology, and Innovation.
